Based in Rotterdam, Van Oord is a leading global marine contractor specialising in offshore wind farm construction, land reclamation, coastal protection and infrastructure projects.
Royal Van Oord's most visible work has been on the Dubai megaprojects, constructing the iconic Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Islands, and their work on Oosterscheldekering, the largest of the Dutch Delta Works. With over 150 years of experience as an international marine contractor, in 2018 the Dutch family-owned business received the right to use the honorary designation Koninklijk ('Royal').
